We represented a purchaser of a corporation that owned a deed, which was the subject of a private mortgage that was moments away from being foreclosed upon. We swooped into the foreclosure action with the client ready to redeem the subject premises, which the private mortgagee had poured a lot of money into in anticipation of foreclosure. Our client ultimately worked out a partnership with the mortgagee, in exchange for delivering them the deed.
