Sale of a Corporate Division — “Ice Melt Division”

In September of 2012, we were retained by Gro-Well Brands to handle the closing on the sale of Gro-Well’s “Ice Melt Division” to an entity controlled by the American Rock Salt Company. The Ice Melt Division manufactures, packages and sells ice melt products, as well as off-season agriculture and landscaping products. The sale, which closed in Mid-October, included the associated leasehold, associated intellectual property and all the equipment used in connection with the operation of the business.
